Fabric marbling is an ancient eastern technique originally developed in the 16th century to prevent forgery on important documents. Traditional paper marbling patterns may be found on the inside cover of many old books. We can marble fabrics up to 96"L X 60"W. We can marble on almost any fabric content including polyester however, marbling does not work well on textured fabrics. See our boutique to purchase/view a selection of our marbled fat quarters. 1,2 & 3 are panels 45"W X 96" long on silk with the detail photos. More samples of marbling on silk Marbling on lycra/spandex fabric that was then made into tops.
